Meet Dr. Kara Rackovan (Ballwin, MO)
Dr. Kara Rackovan, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2019. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Missouri State University in 2015.
As an experienced optometrist focused on comprehensive eye care, Dr. Rackovan has a special interest in contact lenses and myopia management. Inspired by her own experience wearing glasses and contact lenses growing up, she developed a passion for optometry after learning about the anatomy and physics of the eye in high school. She is committed to helping patients achieve their best possible vision while providing personalized care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Dr. Rackovan enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients, helping them feel comfortable during their visits, and ensuring they understand their eye health and treatment options. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young boys, staying active, researching her fantasy football lineup, and trying new restaurants.
